Application Requirements

Filing earlier than our priority filing dates is not necessary. Application requirements vary by citizenship status and admission application or enrollment status. Please refer to the US Department of Education for a definition of Eligible Noncitizens

Stanford treats undocumented students as US domestic students in the admission application process. Undocumented applicants should follow the timelines for US Citizens & Eligible Noncitizens depending on their application status below. The FAFSA is not required for undocumented students. California residents should file the California Dream Act Application no later than March 2nd of the spring before enrollment.
